Flags, flagpoles and flagpole holders

In order to fly the flag, you must follow the good practice of using the flag. There are 14 flag days in Estonia, which celebrate or commemorate special events in Estonian history by raising flags. The flag is raised at sunrise and lowered at sunset. The flags are placed in a place of honour. Either a flagpole or a flagpole holder is needed to fly the flag. The height of the flagpole must be at least six flag widths and the length of the pole must be three widths. The lower edge of the raised flags should be at least three metres above the ground.
