Vlogeri ajastu algas 2008. aastal, kui Canon EOS 5D Mark II tutvustas esmakordselt oma DSLR-kaamera videovõimalusi. See sillutas teed video blogidele ehk vlogidele. Sellise sisu jäädvustamiseks on enne Canon EOS 5D Mark II vaja väga kallist videokaamerat, muutes videotööstuse sisuliselt üleöö. Tänapäeval on Canon PowerShot G7 X-seeria kõige populaarseim vlogimiskaamera Euroopas. Selle taskusse mahtuva kaameraga saate luua 4K videoid, mille kompaktses korpuses on 20,1 MP sensor ja kokkupandav puutetundlik ekraan, muutes selle tõeliselt loominguliseks kaaslaseks.

Peegelkaamerad on tehnoloogiliselt arenenud seadmed, mida saab liigitada filmi- või digitaalseks. Peeglid toodavad palju kvaliteetsemaid fotosid ning pilt on detailne ja elav. Seda tüüpi seadmed erinevad kõigi sätete muutmise võimaluse poolest. Nende peamine omadus on võimalus objektiive sisse või välja suumimiseks vahetada. DSLR-objektiiv on suurema läbimõõduga ja kogub rohkem valgust. See võimaldab pilti optiliselt 6, 8 või isegi 12 korda suurendada. Need kaamerad taasesitavad pilte kiiresti ja kvaliteetselt, luues kõrge eraldusvõimega pilte erinevates vormingutes ja andes teile täieliku kontrolli pildistamisprotsessi üle. Need annavad võimaluse nautida pildistamisprotsessi ennast ja jäädvustada vapustavaid pilte, seega on need populaarsed nii amatööride kui ka professionaalide seas.
